.Film Club
Film Club will return on Friday 20th April 2018.

Picture
An exciting collaboration took place in March, when the West Side Cinema opened its doors to help raise funds for budding young filmmakers. Leaders of Kirkwall Grammar School's Film Club were working with Mark Jenkins, West Side Cinema, to organise a fundraising event so that the school could establish a filmmaking group and purchase much needed equipment. The group has grown out of the school's film club which has been running for over two years. During this time, organisers have been looking to expand the group to begin creating their own films, as well as continuing to enjoy regular film screening on Friday afternoons.

The fundraising event was held on Sunday 13th March in the Stromness Town Hall with a screening of 'From Scotland With Love' (Cert. U). Th event was a massive success and KGS Young Film Makers are now up and running.
