KGS English Department Winter Book Sale 2023
The department enjoyed another very successful and joyous book sale at KGS to close 2023. We loved the opportunity to talk to pupils, parents, staff and members of the community about books, music and film over a coffee and traybake! We raised a grand total of £470 to support our stock of exciting, challenging and rich texts for classes. Many thanks to all who came and supported our (now annual) event! |
English Dept. Winter Book Sale
A HUGE thank you to all the pupils, parents, staff and public that came to support our Winter Book Sale a week ago. We raised over £550 to invest in textbooks and books for classes. A special thanks to all the members of our school community who helped us to set up, offered cakes and plants and donations of books to help make the event a success.

Into Film
Some of our enthusiastic S1 pupils have been involved in creating a One Shot Curricular Film for Into Film last week. The national Into Film team were thrilled to receive our entry and have awarded our club £100 of Amazon vouchers! A huge well done to all of the pupils involved and we plan to use the vouchers to acquire a green screen for the Into Film club. What fun! |
