KGS Activities Football 2017
The boys' first game was against an Inverness Street League select on Wednesday with a 5.30pm kick-off. KGS managed to dominate most of the game, although only scoring once late on through Joe Cromby. Standouts for KGS were Charlie Corsie and captain Alexander Scott. Onwards to Thurso High School on Thursday for a 1pm kick-off. Despite KGS having a couple of early chances, Thurso High managed to score first. Craig Harrison soon equalised for KGS before Charlie Corsie scored direct from a free kick to put the boys 2-1 ahead at half-time. After hitting the bar on three occasions, and the post, the boys were finally rewarded with a double from Joe Cromby. Thurso followed up by scoring themselves before Tom McArthur rounded off the scoring. Standouts in this game were midfield trio Nairn Hall, Finn Hancock and Reece Worthington.
