KGS Young Film Makers

We are delighted to inform you that after a high level of interest and a successful fundraising event, Kirkwall Grammar School has started its very own filmmaking group, KGS Young Film Makers. This group has been created due to the enthusiasm expressed by the members of KGS Film Club and with the help of Into Film we aim to widen the students understanding and enjoyment of film as well as benefit them socially and educationally.

We would like to thank Mark Jenkins and West Side Cinema with all their help with Fundraising and getting the club started.

Screenplay Festival 2016 - Homemade 1-4

This is a very popular section of Screenplay Festival, where local film makers are invited to enter a short film. There is usually a maximum time limit for these entries and this year there may be the opportunity for guest entries.

We were lucky enough for four of our films to be screened in a guest slot and they were well received by all.

Into Film - Winners of Film of the Month

Film of the Month is an open competition running throughout the year, providing opportunities for young people aged 5 to 19 to enter their short films for consideration.
